What fantastic points!
I've come across a speedbump where the twist I thought was really well seeded, ends up not being caught at all!
Do you have any tips on pulling together a twist without explicitly saying "John Smith was a monster all along!"

Writers need feedback. Arranging feedback swaps is a way to get some preliminary perspectives without impacting the budget.

It's a big pool of people saying "I'll show you mine if you show me yours".
Full blown, professional beta-reading and feedback is a fantastic service, but it can sometimes be costly.
Swapping with another writer allows you to receive decent feedback on your MS, free of charge.
