Totally agree! Natural surveillance really matters. Visibility from windows, entrances or foot traffic naturally adds a layer of security that makes a big difference.

Absolutely—security has to be designed in from the start. If people are worried about leaving their bike, they’re less likely to ride in the first place. Visible, well-lit, and theft-deterring cycle parking goes a long way.

First, houseless folks deserve shelter and a place to call home; it’d make sense that they would find value in a covered shelter to sleep, take care of themselves and deal with the elements
