Totally agree! Natural surveillance really matters. Visibility from windows, entrances or foot traffic naturally adds a layer of security that makes a big difference.

Absolutely—security has to be designed in from the start. If people are worried about leaving their bike, they’re less likely to ride in the first place. Visible, well-lit, and theft-deterring cycle parking goes a long way.

First, houseless folks deserve shelter and a place to call home; it’d make sense that they would find value in a covered shelter to sleep, take care of themselves and deal with the elements Second, the article speaks to bike security and theft and how in London since 2012 it’s less than 1%
