Oh my god, that was an amazing episode of The Bear (s2e7)!! Also, the way Olivia Colman's earrings pick up the colour of Ebon Moss-Bachrach's eyes is stunning 💙 I mean, his eyes are incredible.

The absolute burning rage I feel when someone writes my name with a Y, when they are replying to my spouse's post where my spose obviously writes it correctly... I could smelt iron in this. (Finnish autocarrot is interfering with everything. 🤦🏼‍♀️ )

First time putting my shark fin up since before the operation 😁 *happy day*

Just finished reading Death of the Author, and oh my giddy aunt: It is nothing like I've ever read before. It is SO, so beautiful and different. It made me cry several times, but it also made me laugh. It made me very happy. Thank you @nnedi.bsky.social for writing this amazing book 💙

I had a dream about autumn rain last night. Like proper heavy rain. It was wonderful ❤️

We ploughed through all of Tom's Midnight Garden. I read the book about 40 years ago and lived it! But this was my first time seeing the BBC series, and it too was wonderful.

I know, I said that the book bag was ready, but I just had to add a strap thingy to secure it and the cord to close it 💜

Finished the book bag for Death of the Author. It just needs to be soaked and pinned, and then I need to decide how to do the closure 💜

My new favourite method of doing a border on crochet projects ❤️

I completely agree with the recommendation. However, in the comments, people say that it's a sci-fi. It's not. It's far more than that. I wouldn't even try to define this gorgeous piece of writing. And I do not envy the task of my colleagues at the library, who must categorise it when it arrives.

Watching a live conversation from the Finnish rare disease organisation for the Rare Disease Day that is next week. And I have all the fucking feelings.

I started another book bag, no seam moss stitch pattern. It will be for paperbacks. The blue Granny Square is specifically for Death of the Author ❤️

It was gorgeous here five years ago.

Arthur of the Brittons ❤️ We've ploughed through most of it in the past two days. We started it right after we finished Raven, which was very, very good!

INDISPUTABLE FACTS: •Russia invaded Ukraine. •Ukraine bears no responsibility for Russia’s invasion. •Russian aggression is a threat to the entire world. •We stand with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. We stand w/all the people of Ukraine. Follow all: WE ARE THE OPPOSITION. go.bsky.app/AMZH6uh

Saw a reel, and got excited: "OJ is dead." Robyn: "Didn't he die last year?" Me: Googles; "Yeah, on the 10th of April, when I was in the hospital, recovering from brain surgery." Robyn: "You are allowed that reaction."

I had the seizure on Tuesday, and I was actually able to make us coffee and breads for elevenses just now. Recovering from a seizure is fucking brutal.

Finally managed to sew my U.N.I.T patch on and pop my new alien pin badge on my backpack. Both are Xmas pressies from my darling @hodgiepig.bsky.social

Had a seizure this morning and spent six hours in hospital under observation. Everything else was ruled out. They increased the dose of my epilepsy meds.

Tried playing Ghost of Tsushima for the first time since the seizures, and I can't, not really. I played for about 45 minutes. But I started feeling this strange electrical *thing* in my brain, so I had to stop 😭 I am devastated. I know, I have played through it three times, and I have the platinum

I crocheted a little pen horder for my reading journal.

Have just seen 20 seconds of the music video for Finland's entry to Eurovision song contest. I say 20 seconds, because it is fucking atrocious.

November rain, One (Metallica), Rime of the Ancient Mariner (Iron Maiden), Bat out of Hell, Freelove, etc. 😁😄😃

Okay, so "shlanket" as in shawl + blanket is the ugliest word I've heard in a long time!

My whittled interpretation of the head of Ankara is starting to look good. It just needs painting now. The eyes were tricky, but I didn't cut myself once 😉 @nnedi.bsky.social

Beautiful Eddie ❤️

I *love* banning words on here.
