Snopes checked this a few weeks ago and found that there’s no evidence of this being true.

It is the Monkey Game and it has been part of the work world since work existed. At the end of the day, look at what was supposed to be completed. Send requests for support to others so in the morning you can tell the boss “I’m waiting on …” Gets the monkey off your back!

The writing part is generally easy. It is the editing, the rewriting, the second guessing, the additions and subtractions that make writing worth reading

It wasn’t too many generations ago that corpulence was sexy. It also meant you were rich enough to afford food!

Women have stalls. They don’t have open troughs as some men’s rooms do. Exactly what is she doing in the bathroom that she has any clue what is going on in a stall?

Remember that Trump-far from being a Catholic believed he could be Pope. Even if a joke it speaks to the complete lack of self awareness

My solution isn’t for me to solve the problem. It really is his problem to solve. If begging works, fine. But there are thousands of other solutions available that don’t require debasing his/her human dignity.

Nope. Everyone pleads poverty when there are 10,000 other ways to solve the problem. NOPE,Nope,Nope

Humans as a generalization have problems with that which is “different”. Remember the national crisis when Kennedy was elected? The country was ending because a Catholic was elected. Only to become beloved by asasination? Remember when the country was going to be destroyed by a black president?

your accusation of “small mindedness” means that you yourself are small minded. I do believe that LBGQT can be a trusted part of our Military-the military has historically been the proving ground for social change. But I also recognize the social pushback and discomfort that LBGQT provides.

The accusation of ignorance is the willingness to avoid intelligent discussion and debate to achieve a mutual solution. What are your specific objections and what are your counter proposals?

I remember my MS thesis. Six previously published papers in scientific journals edited to meet the Thesis Editor’s requirements. I oft struggled with the point. Every element had been reviewed by other scientists in the field, but the writing needed to be approved by an English major.

It is human to believe that god’s creatures have the slightest desire to be pets.

While I agree that humans aren’t necessarily defined by the biology that nature gave them, I do side with the limits of transgender in the Military. Transgender are humans, but others are confused by their condition. The military needs to eliminate as much confusion as possible.

Knowledge only progresses when it is uniformly and completely challenged and survives the challenges.

I’m not disagreeing in any way shape or form. I’m only saying you have influence. You’ve achieved a milestone that few have and can benefit from your actions. Your posts are a great start. I’m just asking “what’s next?”

Agree. But you have accomplished an amazing goal and have many who look up to you. I believe you can take it to the next level.

And I wouldn’t push that if I didn’t believe in your success so far and how that success and propel others

We have been taught, since the Madison Avenue decided that thin was sexy, that fat is a personal defect. Just like an addict was a personal defect for generations until science determined that it was a genetic vulnerability, We like having someone to look down upon.

Always remember, in a 15 year study the American Lung Association collaborated with the American Cancer Society in an exhaustive analysis. They concluded definitively that you can reduce your chance of lung cancer by over 50% by NOT BREATHING…..

Glad for you. So while monitoring progress is important, at what point do you shift to 4 times a year, then to 2 or 1? As with all process improvement projects, you need to look for the next metric of success. Will it be publishing, others mentored, or something else?

Keep exercising. My biggest regret in retirement is not having a regular exercise habit. It is hard to learn when you are in your 60s

It isn’t free: The community still pays for the books and licenses for the products. But the community treats it as a resource because the community is better when the knowledge and goods are available broadly.

Teachers need the authority to give parents a report card. Parents need to be part of the solution instead of creating the problem. Too attentive parents are just as problematic as the non-participatory parents.

Eliminating the tax exempt status of everything, doubling down on the qualifications and proof of charitable actions would be a great thing for this nation.

Facebook changed the definition of friend. We only have the choice of Friend, not acquaintance, not someone I interact with at my kid’s soccer games. Everyone is FRIEND. So the uncertainty of what is a Friend also drives this “fewer than 3 friends” metric

Journalists have struggled through much worse to report the truth to the world. At this point journalists aren’t open to being shot, to being imprisoned, to being tortured. They still have time to reach the people that support Trump. The facts aren’t working for that!

Impeachment requires High Crimes and Misdemeanors. At this point, even blatant treason by a Russian Agent can be believed but not verified with evidence. Crashing the economy is not, putting scores of poor people and elderly on the street isn’t either.

Men are okay, they are just behind the evolutionary 8-ball. Most would rather have the housewife of a 1950s sitcom than a CEO of a successful company.

Collective Bargaining is responsible for much of the employment law we enjoy in the US. Right to Work efforts are Union busting at their core. However, with power does bring corruption. Unions must change leadership as frequently or more frequently than the Nation changes president.

Unfortunately it remains true: History is written by the victors in any conflict. (except the American Civil War-the only conflict in the history of humans where the losing side get honoraria)
