Google jumps to drop diversity programs. So much for "don't be evil". proton.me looks pretty nice. I'm seeing that recommended as an alternative. Secure, based in Switzerland. There's a free version. Paid single, duo, and family accounts offer more. Mail, calendar, drive, vpn, password manager. 🤔

I was actually getting a little excited about starting to use BlueSky, and then, on my first real post, I ran straight into the short character limit, which I had managed to forget about. ARGH. Always hated that about Twitter. Please increase the limit, @bsky.app.
