Spring Primary in WI Today! For us, it's just voting for the State Superintendent of Public Instruction with choice between Jeff Wright and Jill Underly. Wright seems to be more progressive, but OK with Underly. Brittany Kinser is the conservative candidate, so anybody but her at this point.

Beginning to wonder if mere millionaire conservatives realize how much their income will plummet with Elon and Trump's planned changes. Discretionary spending disappears in recessions. If you own a business involving prepared food, home services, buying new instead of used, etc...you're screwed.

in the runup to the Ukraine war, US conservatives were jacking themselves off to footage of Russian VDV guys doing hand to hand combat. Then 90% of those guys were wiped out in the first day of the war because it turns out hand to hand combat isn't very important if they shoot your helicopter down

1/ Dear Canada, My grandfather (Pepe, forgive the informality and lack of accent marks) immigrated to southern Maine from New Brunswick, Canada when he was young. He was in the US Army during WW2, undoubtedly proud of the Canadians fighting alongside us.
