Nice to talk with you too! I had so many great conversations! I usually donβt talk much at these things but I told myself to spark up convos before I went and Iβm so glad I did!

Portlandia loves a good sign! @coin-indivisible.bsky.social was out there last night in rush hour too. I think making it a regular thing will really make people think twice.

They say to keep your message simple and memorable. This person nailed it. π€£ β¦ there was a young couple driving by in a blue wrapped cybertruck who looked genuinely shocked to have 100 people boo them as they drove past. Their faces looked aghast!

Good for you! Honestly, I have so much respect because that is really brave. In Portland you know you are going to be surrounded by people jumping in with you. To be on my own would be pretty scary. I can't believe you outright got sieg heils! Just wow.

So many Teslas drove by. Most of the waved and gave us thumbs up... except the cyber dumpsters... a couple in a blue wrapped one looked over and their faces were just shocked as 100 people boo'd them driving out. I think they get it now.

The big question is why would someone buy one? The don't charge as fast, the range estimates are false, the quality is atrocious, they have the highest crash fatality record of any brand... not to mention the disgusting politics of the person that profits the most from a purchase. Just hard pass.

everyone, remember what Indiana Jones taught us to do when seeing one of these guys in public... metaphorically of course. With words.

Last year at the Portland auto show there was a small crowd around a CyberTruck. I went around showing people how many panels were miss matched, already scratched or had visible signs of poor craftsmanship π€£

and lastly the word kind is related to the word kin... be kind, encourage each other, and comfort each other, that is how we are going to get through this and fix things. Read the entire piece here: www.meditationsinanemergency.com/this-is-real...

I also loved this bit. Encourage means to instill someone with courage.

Ha, great idea! Though having read the Silo books and knowing they are staying true to them not likely. But an awesome thought.

I was just talking with @zamafir.bsky.social about as painful as it is to wait a week, it's also nice to have the space to think about it. There are so many small details in each episode that the week gap gives me time to stew on π€£
