I saw THE MONKEY today, which I liked but didn’t love. There are degrees of horror movie enjoyment I’ve evolved in during the years. The first hit was just shock and gore. The second hit was trauma coding what used to be camp. Oddly the third hit is camp. The fourth is character.

The nicest thing about Cybertrucks so far is they deface and devalue themselves, so when I see one with a spray painted swastika or literal dog(e) shit on it, I feel happy someone got to the truck before (checks notes) its glued-on panels fall off an it crashes itself.

Denver Restaurant owners have been making me mad. Specifically the ones trying to suppress minimum wage hikes, and the ones that wrote a letter to the mayor blaming food trucks and bike lanes. And the owner of Heaven Creamery on Larimer that pushed to have the 2900 block be a car block again.

The most inside of inside baseball, but Netflix just instituted a change to how critics access their screeners that vastly reduces the number of devices on which we can actually watch them, making it a whole lot harder to actually watch and write about their stuff. Completely exasperating.
