And last but definitely not least, the Paph and miniatures guy also has this ENORMOUS Calanthe (syn. Phaius) tankervilleae. It is probably eight feet tall this year? I have a smaller version of this plant that has never bloomed and I'm like...COME ON!Calanthe tankervilleae. #orchids 🌱

Not to mention all the bird flu infecting cattle and people. I have heard it has near 50% mortality in humans. So far no human to human transmission. What is needed is a vaccine for livestock and maybe humans. Oh yah, research has stopped and a fruitcake is in charge of DHS.

On a positive note, the EU, UK, Italy, France, Poland, Spain and Germany made statement last evening that they stand with Ukraine and that they will ensure Ukraine is at the “heart” of the peace negotiations with Russia. They mentioned USA was welcome participate, of course.
