Agree. 2022 is an under stated classic design that will age well; esp since ‘21 & ‘23 were forgettable. 2024 is one of my all time favorites.

Also, Mr. Magic (WBLkickinS) and DJ Red Alert (KISS FM) rap attacks on weekend nights in the 80’s. Had countless cassette tape recordings!

Listening to American Standards, big band & “Make Believe Ballroom” on our kitchen radio. And Jonathan Schwartz’ annual “Salute to Baseball” every Super Bowl Sunday.

I ripped an entire box of ‘93 Pinnacle to get this missing piece from my Yankees collection.

“You should’ve shot ARod” might be one of the funniest lines ever.

This set has grown on me. Wish I had purchased some when it came out.

Everything I know about the solar plexus, I learned from Gorilla Monsoon. 👨‍🎓

$3,500 isn’t going to cover the cost of updating all of your swag.

MLB should invest in youth baseball. NFL is dumping buckets of ca$h into girls’ flag football (refs, amazing fields). Lacrosse is gaining in popularity. Meanwhile there’s a shortage of umpires and fields.

Tell him to smear Crisco all over himself and roll around in rainbow sprinkles next.

Even if he deliberately tapped his helmet; we watch baseball for the players. I get umps are people, but if that gesture gets to you, maybe umpiring isn’t the right profession.

Seriously. I was thinking that modern little league fields put this to shame.

If pitchers still had to throw balls for an intentional walk, Volpe would swing at them.

That’s great. Mine would most definitely be 2:28 of No. 13 Baby.

Amazing album. Great memories.

Ooph. Really puts those ejections into a different light.

That would have been a more productive at-bat if he went up there pretending to hold an air bat

Cone: Force him to throw 3 strikes. Volpe: Foul off ball 4; foul off ball 5; whiff at ball 6

Nothing. I have so many cards I need to get rid of. Happy to give them proper homes. DM me your address & I’ll pop in the mail.

Found these Colson’s if you want them. Also realized I had half of a 2023 hobby box unopened, which was a nice surprise. The red Colas auto redemption expired a few days ago but hopefully Topps will be lenient.

I have little interest in Bowman rookie & even less in vets. Happy to send them your way if you’re looking for particular players or teams. LMK.

If only there had been a highly capable, above-average hitting 3B available until the very end of free-agency.

Bonds didn’t even achieve that.

Does she have a Bluesky account?

Only 6 humans have done it (if you consider Rickey human). I really wish Eric Davis had had a full, healthy career.

Probably influenced by Negiyaki (Japanese) and/or Pajeon (Korean). Seek them out. Delicious.

I hope he sports a large Italian Horn necklace for the occasion.

Roberto Kelly really put together a sneaky good career.

Just me, and not judging, but it breaks my heart to see any wax pack trapped in a case.

Dude! The amount of ground he covered! And that LF is lazy.

First off, he was drafted in MLB, NBA & NFL (even though he didn’t play college football). Best current comp is Ronald Acuna (but without the injuries).

My son is at the age where he’d like this solely because it says 69.

At the time, it was the richest sports contract on the planet.
