The fact that all the stories say that 'the president is very involved in the design...' highlight a big issue. This isn't part of his job. His tendency to want to micromanage all this is distracting him from doing the job as outlined in Article II.

Of the person or people I was there to care for. Was I polite? Knowledgeable? Caring? Efficient?
That first impression was key. Did quality care and professionalism get out of that ambulance? Or did the 'circus come to town?' /4

My 'bedside manner,' my patient care skills, and my on scene demeanor were right there for all to see. Fire Captains & chief officers, state troopers, patrol officers, they knew my professional side. Patents, family members & others on scene, all they needed to see that I would take good care.. /3

Most of them knew us by sight. When I get out of the ambulance, or when I walked inside, what impression did I give? 'Sweet! He's here. We're in good hands,' or 'sir, you're in good hands.'
The opposite could also be true. 'Oh, crap, he's here.' /2
