We are arms dealers to terrorists.

And so it begins. Not going to the KC will be a fine fuck you to the orange turd. Hopefully some of the shows get booked at other venues instead. Local voters won't patronize Chairman Trump's little fantasyland.

The KC will be an empty shell once the shows with existing ticket holders run out. No one decent will want to perform there, and the existing customer base will abandon it. Going to the KC will be like buying a Tesla in this region now. Gonna look stupid.

If younger folk aren't buying because they can't, then it's not surprising many turned against the "establishment" that produced good macro economic numbers but ignored them.

My students know "One conversation, please" is their cue to tune in and stop side chats. Anyone who continues gets called out by name and asked to stop in front of everyone. Doing that consistently sets clear boundaries for high schoolers. Raising my voice for a quick "Yo!" is the most I ever need.

Ya know, Great Britain at least had several decades of comparatively dignified decline (i.e., not stripping the country for parts) before it became a laughingstock. The United States decided to skip all of that and jump straight into cannibalizing itself.

McCormick is quoted at this town hall as saying "I didn’t have to come here," in case you are wondering what some politicians think of their own constituents.

Yeah, Trump's plan sucked. That's why you IDIOTS voted for it. FAFO's a bitch "Town halls from Georgia to Wisconsin to Oregon grew heated this week as voters showed up to vent, outraged at the firing of federal workers and DOGE’s access to sensitive data."

It never ceases to amaze me how we went nuts after 9/11 to clamp down on illicit activity then sat back and let a platform worth hundreds of billions arise unregulated. It's not a partisan issue. Everyone did it. But it's prima facie crazy. You couldn't offer a better vehicle or fatter target.

Oops.. The Nation: “This will ultimately hurt hundreds of thousands of people—many of them Trump voters. It turns out that military veterans are disproportionately represented among the DOGE cuts, because they disproportionately work in federal jobs. Two-thirds of veterans voted for Trump in 2024.”

This gets it too.... "Many voters were desperate for a straightforward alternative to what they saw as the stale establishmentarian liberalism of the Biden-Harris administration. So they projected its opposite, as they understood it, onto their only other viable option."

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau chimed in online after Canada beat the United States in the 4 Nations Face-Off final. 🔗 www.nytimes.com/athletic/liv...

"This reveals Mr. Trump’s economic agenda for what it is: not bringing jobs back home or even boosting American manufacturing, but making the rich richer. To do this, Mr. Trump has one main goal: to shift the tax burden away from corporations and the wealthy. With tariffs, he is doing exactly that."

The first way we will all know whether or not the Dallas Cowboys have grown up to a point where they are willing to take things seriously will be if there is an extension for number 11 in the near future. If they wait... well. That will say a lot. www.bloggingtheboys.com/2025/2/20/24...

The widely held assumption among the previously non-political Trump voters I know that made them inclined to vote MAGA was this: All politicians are corrupt liars. Now they are content to be governed by the most corrupt, lying-est people imaginable. But at least they're not politicians, right?

I just unsubscribed from their newsletter. I rarely read much of it anyway. "The owner of Politico has praised the “inspiring message” of J.D. Vance’s speech that was met with horror in Europe, as he berated the continent’s politicians for their “whiny” response to the vice-president"

TRANSLATION: "Just because you like to hang out with your buds and mock the physical appearance of anyone walking by while you drink 15 beers then go hit the road in your pickup truck." Yeah, be a REAL man like that.

It's Ukraine's fault Russia attacked them is the same as it's Canada's fault America is threatening them is the same as it's the woman's fault her boss sexually harassed her, albeit at different degrees.

As a business genius, I have fired everyone in Accounts Receivable and the attorneys who sue anyone who shirks contractually required payments to us. This will generate so much savings that we'll have a lot more money in the end. You can praise me now.

I love clever and eloquent insults: "LOL the dream team, I even see a former faculty prof who continues to sink...But fine, let's be honest, even before you divest yourself of your dignity, you were already a mediocre teacher, Pierre-Henri....:

Hm, what happened a year ago? "In 2024, between January 1 and February 19, there were 123 aviation accidents of various severity according to the NTSB. There were 18 fatal incidents, but the number of fatalities was fewer than in 2025, with 42 reported." I guess Biden fucked up the FAA, huh?

Oops, all those Trump voters who need help rebuilding are now just SOL, I guess. FAFO

He has nothing left to sell out. Time to pack it in. Mitch can go to his grave knowing he made Trump 2.0 possible. Well done, you ignorant POS.

What could go wrong with that? “Trump wants to abolish the Internal Revenue Service and create an ‘external’ revenue service that will somehow force the rest of the world to fund the U.S. government." Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick:“His goal is to abolish the IRS and let all the outsiders pay.”

Morons who voted for Trump and hate him doing what he promised... "Reviews are mixed to negative on many of his specific initiatives, and 57% say he has exceeded his authority since taking office....Overall, 43% say they support what the president has done during his first month with 48% against."

Donald calls Elon an employee, but doesn't realize that Elon is the owner.

"Mr. Madison, what if a president diverts funds appropriated by Congress and withholds them or diverts them to another purpose?" "At least three remedies exist: Sue the president in the Supreme Court Refuse to provide more funds Impeach the president." "Congress won't do that." "WTF!"

“Half-arsing, Norms believes, is a much-needed antidote to our over-optimising, all-or-nothing, ‘do it 100% or don’t do it at all’ culture, and a world in which nine out of 10 UK adults report experiencing high or extreme levels of pressure or stress in the past year.” apple.news/AhSid4kaVRVu...

But plenty of space in the secondary education world, public and private. The number of schools shedding staff is microscopic.
