My red state governor is the same as yours. My favorite stupid thing is refusing to give property tax relief, then creating a new dept, mailing checks, which we also mail, then taking it right back later when we get billed.

My husband did his mom’s “I got this recipe from a man from Louisiana” turkey gumbo using the carcass. Amazeballs.
Now we use duck or chicken since it’s just us.
Over rice you don’t mind days of leftovers.

Long hat pins are getting harder to find, however, might I recommend the fur clip, also known as a pin clip? They have two sharp prongs and are easy to remove, being on a hinge. Popular for about 30 years and are usually rhinestone.

Rural Montana here, nothing but 2 lane roads for 60 miles in any direction for my town of 100 people to get to any services. Average age here is 67. The leopards are going to be eating some faces here come January.
