Those lines communicate a desire for the torch catchers to continue the current war, yes. To its conclusion, most likely (so I agree with you there). My favourite anti-war poem is "Dulce et Decorum Est" - The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori.

"...The torch; be yours to hold it high.     If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow         In Flanders fields." Every Remembrance Day we're told this is an anti-war poem, and every Remembrance Day I seethe. It isn't.

Is the moon "TROUBLE"? Is the fence trouble? Is the fence keeping trouble in or out? I have so many questions.

I don't know, I just take what Spotify gives me. It's a new Ambient for me, I'm usually Dark Ambient where my fave is 5891802. It confused me for awhile, before I realized that was the artist name.

This is why they've been attacking those, especially education, for years. The less people can critical think, the better they do.

Mostly ones for funsies, though I do have a couple with my Mage character, his wife, and family floating around the submission circuit. My friend and I just write romance stuff RP style on Discord for funsies. One day I might convince her to polish it for publication.

#writerscoffeeclub Feb 3, Do you agree with Thomas Mann, who said, “A writer is a person for whom writing is more difficult than it is for other people.” I'd never heard this quote before, but I like it. The tongue-in-cheek humour hits a truth - things are when harder you care. #writerscommunity

Because some of us are old and know that ad breaks are just when you get a snack, or pee, or yell at your kid to do their homework, or flip the laundry, or... you get it. We're old.

Babylon 5!! Hello, is this supposed to be a *hard* question? Also Stargate TV shows. Lije Bailey & R. Daneel Olivaw books by Asimov. Farscape. I feel like I need to think more because there are so many amazing ones.

Which is one of the reasons they defund/ underfund education. And attack intellectual discourse as "elitist" (it can be, but isn't necessarily). And everything else that's done to inhibit people's ability to think for themselves and ask questions.
