Beating us 4-0 at home doesn’t seem so friendly to me. Meany Swiss.

Are you telling me pay to play with ridiculous travel schedules by the time you’re 7 years old is not working? Shocker.

It seems like Reed Shepard's limited ability to get on the floor this year has adjusted your thinking. Any other players of recent drafts going differently then you expected that made you adjust your assessment?

I fully agree. We just elected almost octagenarion Barbara Lee as our Mayor. But pretty hard disagree on AOC. She seems to use the same Bernie playbook of blaming billionaires and not actually doing anything.

Steph? Steph was plus 10 on Ant. When Steph and Ant both played Steph scored 13 and Ant scored zero.

And yet, Dubs would've beat them in 6 with Curry. Not sure I was impressed at all this series.

The full KAT experience. Gets a little confidence and starts playing outside his ability. Next he’ll make a nice pass out the double, then throw a hook pass into the stands.

But when you have such a pretty lefty floater, is it really that bad?!?

This math doesn’t add up. Down 20, then outscored them by 16. Knicks would’ve lost by 4

For sure GPII did a great job but I also think the game clock was just in Sengun's head, and was a bit too impatient.

31-22 FT advantage for the Rockets. Keep digging buddy.

I agree. Refs realized their mistake and didn’t want to become the show. Good on them

If you don’t think the first tech on Dray was a joke, I’m not sure we’re even watching the same game.
comment in response to

Dray was peacemaker. Can’t believe you think Dray gets out of Techs. Refs hate him. That was absurd

Dray robbed. Voter/Dray fatigue is real. Dray is in a different league.

Body check? Stop it, it was a soft box out and Amen undercut Jimmy. Horrible play
comment in response to

Amen should have been thrown out. So reckless
comment in response to

This is a crazy take. Should have been a flagrant on Amen. Dray would’ve been kicked out

Good defense but worse offense. The spacing of Denver was terrible. Braun and Westbrook were on top of each other. Braun has got to go to either corner.

Ethical? I’m not sure you are using that term correctly. Incredible, sure but Kawhi has a head throw back that competes with the best of them.

At least Vivek didn’t hire Anjali for the job?

One thing I dislike in this analysis and basketball analysis in general is stats are discussed in per game stats and not total year stats. Imagine if the home run king or golden boot went to the player with most home runs/goals per game? Shai scoring 300 more points should matter more

I have watched the inverted Jimmy-Steph PNR to blind-corner handoff Steph 3, on replay 5 times already. Such perfect, beautiful Warriors basketball.

This is such a ridiculous article. Lee received more money from special interests, Loren from individual donors in Oakland. Not mentioned. Lee donation from CEO Gregory Adams, whose business resides in Oakland. Not mentioned.

The refs overturn that call if that’s not Dray.

I take it back, for some reason I thought Clips had the tie breaker over Twolves.
comment in response to

To be fair the Clips had the 5th locked up by the time Harden started going off in OT. Pressure was off.

Yes and no. I also think the arbitrary 3-pt line creates an aesthetic problem of uniformity. You have so many players that run to the line on offense and never move until the possession ends. The Malik Beasleys and Taurean Princes of the world. The court geometry lacks variance

I feel like Snow Time is already taken by the Michael Ray Richardson Knicks.

Not be an anti-hater here but Joe Lacob has done pretty well for the Warriors. Even if he’s not light years ahead.

Baseball also has no salary cap. And I’ll believe the death sentence when I see it. Just saying, it’s worked out ok for them.
comment in response to

For sure. The Giants sold 10% of their organization to the PE firm. I’m just saying it can work out.

In 2019 Silverlake bought $500M in Man City. They have won the PL a record times since then and won the treble last year

Draymond was incredible tonight. Dominated Giannis. Trying to steal himself the DPOY

comment in response to

Tim Duncan is great and an all-timer but you could make the same list for Tim against Shaq, yet Shaq was the more dominant player. Lebron versus Jordan, yet Jordan is seen as still number 1. Longevity versus dominance.

As a kid the only Glen Rice memory I have is his All star MVP game. Couldn’t miss a three. Back when the All Star game mattered and was the only time to see random stars from the other coast.

I mean more likely to get fouled. Speed and force naturally lead to delayed defensive reactions and more fouls.
comment in response to
post
But Edwards should be getting more foul calls per drive because he drives with much more force. Zion is a perfect example, he has the highest foul per drive rate but I bet the foul rate should be even higher because he drives with so much force. No one accuses Zion of grifting.

Those guys are also bigger and RJ plays faster. Shai is slower and methodical. It’s honestly not an indictment. Harden and Chris Paul, two of the best to do it before Shai are great players too. But you have to see it right?
comment in response to
post
Finch didn’t say they don’t get called for fouls, he just said they foul. It’s true (3rd in PF per game.) And he didn’t say the Thunder get a lot of foul calls, he just said Shai is a grifter that gets a lot of calls. It’s also true. (9 FTs a game.)
comment in response to
post
They just foul so much that it would be impossible for a ref to call it each time. It’s smart. But he’s right that it also seems ridiculous that they have one of the biggest grifters in Shai.

If you were the tallest starter on your team at 6’6”, surrounded by Buddy, Podz and Curry, and still led your team to a top-10 defense, you would be barking too. You guys all watched Buddy up close, you know how impressive this is.
