Oh okay thank you.

Try to continue spreading the need for nuance and proper debate, and try to not push others or yourselves into left or right pigeonholes.

Maybe we should stop talking about it.

Isn't separation of art and artist the whole discussion point here?

Hey! Welcome aboard. Not to mention a few millennia of telling stories round a fire.

Can't get my bearings here. So is that Windmill Road on the left or right?

This is the day things become really scary. Vance and Thiel is the endgame.

I mean, I think it was probably less than 1 in 175 to happen, so it should be! Hindsight is 20/20.

Haha, I see, thanks. Is it 3 times the amount of milk as 'normal'?

Thank you for taking the time to realise that not everybody is just wanting an extreme shouting match. The result is established, but to ensure a free, fair and valid election all the ballots are always counted. Anybody who implies the result might change is either confused or rage baiting you.

Because you don't stop counting votes when the winner is clear, otherwise you wouldn't have a full result of the election. It's not just presidential votes on those ballot papers anyway.

Again, you're missing the facts. No side is counting. Election officials are completing counting ballots. If there was a tight race anywhere, they would be waiting to announce a winner. They don't need to. Trump has won the vote. But all ballots must still be recorded. The same happened in 2020.

No specific 'side' is counting ballots. The ballots are just all being counted. The result is sure regardless. www.npr.org/2024/11/04/n...

It removes all nuance and negates any sharing of views and opinions. We've been divided and conquered into a battle of "who won the argument?" where the scoring is kept via likes and shares, but we only count the points from people we agree with.

The pigeonholing of every individual into either "right" or "left" is innately damaging to any positive discourse. As a generally left of centre voter (but obviously with views on some topics that are elsewhere on the spectrum, just like anyone) I've experienced being shouted down into both camps.

Just closed my Twitter account after 18 years on the platform, so I'm pleased to see you on here!

I highly suggest you don't rely on social media for news.
