I don’t think that news & current affairs programmes should invite him on. However, given that he is invited back again and again, when he starts ranting about curtailing the interview instead of answering reasonable questions, interviewers should call his bluff and say “OK. Interview over.”

Indeed. See also his recent interview with Victoria Derbyshire on Newsmight. I can only think they keep inviting him on for “entertainment” value. There is no information value in interviewing someone so obnoxious and obstructive. The best policy would be to never invite him for an interview again.

It was suspended in France - I think- because the French athletics authority insisted that all participants present a doctor’s certificate that they are fit enough to take part. Parkrun decided that this was against their principles.
