Not Doe and me absolutely devouring this book within a day cause it was so good.
From start to finish it feels like an ongoing haunting fiddle song echoing through the woods.
Excellent characters, excellent relationships, excellent messy human emotions around grief, love, family and friendship 💕🙏

Sure, it's all still very on brand, and I do still have many criticisms about this series in general (to be polite) but maybe because it's the 3rd book and you automatically know the characters more and know what you are in for... I was in for the ride!😊

Still thinking about Clockwork Boys and Wonder Engine every now and then 🥹
Paladin's Hope was fine, but these 2 books set my standards for the White Rat books so high cause they are just SO GOOD 😭🙌
