I’m so stressed out. I’m scared for myself (white female), my husband (black male), my friends, my family, the LGBTQIA community, immigrants, really almost everybody except for the white men in this country. I’m not sure how we will find jobs or advance our careers or if we will be persecuted.

I am excited to try The Poppy War. Not gonna lie, I’ve been dragging on Sword of Kaigen. I finished the Alloy of Law yesterday and needed a Sanderson break because it’s been a full re-read on Stormlight and Mistborn.

Yea! My people. I finished Wind and Truth a couple weeks ago, just started The Poppy War, also reading the Sword of Kaigen and The Culture code (for work book club). I downloaded Fable a few weeks ago and trying that as my place for recommendations / book club ideas.

I’ve been using Libby to replace audible through the library. I’ll look into Libra.fm as the library doesn’t always fulfill have what I’m looking for available.

This hit me as I was shutting off all my Amazon items recently, that I don’t want collections of books because I try to live minimally, but to ensure I have those that I want I’m going to need to purchase. I’ve found a couple local used book stores.
