Former logistics guy here.
We need to target the support structure for boycotts and pickets.
Example: those white vans have to be serviced. Who does it? Who provides gas? What hotels do they use? What restaurants? What caterers?

Ernst might say that this supports her apparent position - that health care resources shouldn't be spent on people who need it.

Yes, planning to keep the plane. But, I don't think he's planning to leave office, ever.

I dunno, CECOT looks pretty secure, and has a lot of well-equipped folks working there - that'd probably be a nice, safe place for them to stay for a spell.

Legions of actually patriotic folks stand with you, and appreciate the work you're doing.

Yes, indeed!
And the Archivist certainly should've had some serious questions about that chat group.

SECDEF seems to think of everyone but MAGA as an enemy.
But, that's in step with the rest of the administration.

A peace plan should absolutely include demilitarization... of Russia.

Hegseth's responses in his confirmation hearing were clear - he has no regard whatsoever for the lives of civilians - including children and the elderly. I believe that his contempt for life extends to those US citizens who don't adhere to his particular beliefs.

Hegseth needs to be removed immediately. Every servicemember entering hostile space will have the question in their head - did SECDEF compromise this mission? - that distraction impacts their readiness and safety.
Senate needs to fix their error and get a trustworthy SECDEF in place yesterday.

Why do humans pretend we're so different, when we can be just as cruel as the rest of nature, or more so, and the rest of nature can be as benevolent as us?

Our dog and I encountered a large toad sitting the entrance of her doghouse one spring morning. She sniffed the toad, then carefully stepped over it. The toad was nesting the straw inside, and our hundred-pound pup came to gently touching it with one paw - like a pat on the head -

I don't think anyone in the administration would care.
Until you get to Blanche or Bondi, the lawyers are just fodder, and they would let them rot.

It makes it worse! That means everything we see is pathological and profoundly dishonest.

I'd want to ask "How do you put up with all of us?"
But I really don't want to ask you, because that would be putting work on you that really belongs to me.
Really, I just want to say "Thank you, and we appreciate you."

I think they believe that everyone will just hop into jobs at places like the old Bethlehem Steel works, supposing it will all just be fired up in a month or two and then we use all that steel to make new iPhones.

Gov't tells us to prove our citizenship - tells us to go to gov't to get the proof that we then show to gov't, as if gov't couldn't figure it out.
Honest legislation would make it easier to vote and leave Kafka out of it.

As if the gov't can't figure out a person's citizenship. Where do we go to get our proof of citizenship??? We go to gov't, to get the proof, to show to gov't.
It's voter suppression, plain and simple.

Neofeudalism is their goal, yes, with the chosen authoritarians as the monarchs, barons, and lords of their city-states.
May a hundred million Robin Hoods rise to thwart their designs.

Well, I guess now they would have to prosecute him, since you really can't let that kind of thing slide, and if they can get it through a grand jury, it would proceed to an indictment and *DISCOVERY* of the administration's records.

According to the administration, at least 238 people in a Salvadoran prison now have state secrets, with more on the way. How are they going to clean up that data spill?

And that's 238 defensive briefs they now need to conduct in a Salvadoran prison. State secrets, sworn to the court, got to be done!
