Maybe the darts crowd is just the darts crowd eh? Its in-group norms are you get pissed and wave signs, that isn't new. At the snooker, the in-group norms are you stay silent and applaud in the gaps, which is what the crowds at the Crucible have just done hour after hour for the last fortnight

Hall has called Carnival “vandalism”, “dangerous,” alleged that it puts residents “through hell” and repeatedly argued it should be moved to Hyde Park - effectively abolishing it - “for the safety of the police, the innocent that attend and the poor residents that live in the area"
