I can’t help but wonder if the military hardware coming to DC for the dictators birthday parade has a deeper purpose. It would be a great excuse to put the pieces in place for a coup. I don’t really think that’s likely, but neither do I fully trust that it’s off the table.

Keep in mind societies are nonprofits that are legally barred from lobbying. What we can do is inform members about how to engage with their representatives and the public and media to put pressure on reps to support funding.

At Harvard, only 20% of international students are undergrads Vast majority are in programs and fields were you couldn’t fill seats with Americans *even if you tried* Eg, our program on international development (which trains future GLOBAL leaders) Losing my mind on this
