I would say that is a definitive no. Willander is a far superior prospect — his upside is much higher and his certainty to be an impact NHLer is higher than Mancini. For me Mancini is great depth for the organisation, particularly on the right side where they are a bit thin beyond the NHL.

Hard to compare them, really. ASP is a high tempo defender with ridiculous offensive tools. ASP is also pretty disruptive, but Willander impacts the game more in his own end. Better off his edges, physical, a better processor under pressure. It’s up to what you need — PP QB vs. Shutdown

I think you will see him play NHL games this season once his NCAA season is over. After that, it will depend on how he plays and the orgs development plan.

I like Kud’s defensive skating more (deceptive off his edges as well) but both are mobile enough for the NHL game.
