So strange how doing the right and moral thing is also the best thing for the economy. Almost like saying it's "Too expensive" is an outright lie. Huh.

Stops, looks back, hears nothing and sees no one, starts walking, sounds start up. Repeat until you realize you'll never reach your destination at this rate.

True, but it's nice to be seen, known, loved, and affirmed every now and then.

And will Greg be leading this parade? Paying medical bills? Therapy bills? Bailing folks out? I don't know Greg but I get the distinct impression the answer to all four is "no."

I wonder how many lie to their families. Or how many are estranged from them. Don't get me wrong, I'm certain there's a portion of families who are proud of their ICE agent, just curious what the breakdown is.

Good luck with the move. Hope your health holds up well through it.

So true, if kids get decent grades and don't cause problems for adults they get more responsibility and expectations thrust on them because they are so "mature". And, being a kid, they're usually too naive to see how messed up that is, or how much of childhood they're losing out on.

I suspect orbs don't work for folks who lack an imagination. Maybe start them off with tarot cards? Scaffolding, as we say in education.

Not a theologian, but it looks like it says "Chappell", so I'm guessing made up.

Rewatch or first watch? I'm a chronic rewatcher of my favorites so I see both as vitally important.

True. I am forever grateful to be a desert dweller. My sympathies are with you at this horrific time.

I assumed it was the published work that made me an author. Now I know it's the times I worked security at cons.

Time to saddle up and take the A train.

Healthcare is also a public good. The only reasons not to have healthcare for everyone are cruelty and eugenics.

Great portrait of the most innocent sweetie.

Naive, unprofessional, or just trying to poison the jury pool?

So, walk softly and wear a big belt buckle?

Once had a friend advise me to call the cops for a mental health crisis. I told her I would not. Then, locally, someone in a mental health crisis is murdered by a bystander for "attacking" a policeman and suddenly she's all "Don't call the cops." Some people trust authority way too much.

Someone calling themselves an anarchist who actually knows what anarchism is. Love that.

I keep asking it if it's a skills issue or a behavior issue but all I get in response is pain or nausea.

They don't even have to read it! Though, yes, it would be cool if they did. Or terrifying, depending on what you write.

It's odd that some folks seem to want to eliminate the actual creation part of the creative process but how do I self express with slurry made up of other folks expressions? Ethics aside, they don't live my life so how is the result going to feel like it came from me?

Have a bunch of kale in the fridge right now. So jazzed to try this!

I know, clearly the pro-AI crowd simply don't understand/enjoy the creative process. It's not the part to skip over, it's the part to savor. Maybe you get frustrated or struggle at times, but that's the nature of anything worth doing.

I am so bad at giving directions that I sometimes doubt the askers ended up where they wanted to be. That poor fella who just wanted to get to the eye doctor.
