Crafty, reader, living room funny not comedy club funny, wife, mom, just kind of hanging out. Oh and don't worry about following me. I don't post stuff often. It would be disappointing for you. I might try to post more, but can't guarantee anything.

My husband is off this week for Christmas and New Year's. It's the awesomely weird in between where time doesn't exist and food is eaten, gremlin like. Hubby is scrubbing the stove clean (it's day 2 of this) and I just ate cookie dough for lunch. I just told him he doesn't know how to staycation.

5+ hours using the pattern I cut in my hyper focus last week to cut the fabric. Will hopefully get to sew tomorrow.

In the middle of a hyper focus and spent 2+ hours cutting out a pattern for a Christmas gift. Hoping I bought the right fabric!

I was diagnosed with ADHD last year at 43. This past June, after finding the right medication, I finally finished this gift my husband got me for Mother's Day back in 2021. I'm finishing more projects than I start now and it's been a great journey but also, people just FINISH things! It's wild!

This year was a small Thanksgiving for my family. Only the 7 of us (hubby and our 2 daughters, my dad, hubby's mom, and our nephew, everyone lives with us). But, we have pie for breakfast on Friday, so we have 3 pies and 2 cheesecakes. Good times.

I love watching the parade every year. And I will say this for ever, dancers are some of the best things during the parade. They absolutely improvise on the spot to whatever comes their way. Jennifer Hudson is amazing but those dancers switching the umbrella, good on them! So good!

I think I want to share something I did with my daughters when they were younger but getting older (they are currently 11 and 13). I told them I was not strong enough to pick them up. Not that they were too heavy, or were getting too big. It was a me thing. Not them. I hope it helped them.

Oh @mcchampionship.com I went looking for you when I joined here. I have only justified keeping my other account so I know when MCC is. But now, I can exclusively use this (also I did not do a very good job of looking for you obviously, you've been here a month!). Poor form on my part. Cheers!

My dad is really into The Great Courses. He keeps buying their DVDs so he can learn stuff. He bought me a DVD on spices and my youngest a DVD about colored pencils and how to use them. He got himself one on watercolor and math. 76 is NOT too old to learn cool new things!
