Crafty, reader, living room funny not comedy club funny, wife, mom, just kind of hanging out. Oh and don't worry about following me. I don't post stuff often. It would be disappointing for you. I might try to post more, but can't guarantee anything.

The best analogy I saw about politics/candidates is something along the lines of, "a candidate is not a direct flight." Even if you can't get a candidate that checks EVERY one of your boxes, get one that checks most. Get on the bus or plane going the closest to your destination. We will get there.

It feels like his only experience with transportation is driving the RV on Road Rules. Like wtf?

I don't watch television anymore...and I don't do new movies much either. My daughters like family movie nights on Fridays and Saturdays so we do that. I think it would be awesome to see some movies again for the first time.

I heard someone say they tell Drs "my period is regular and I have no concerns," in response to when asked for the date of your last mental period. I asked my daughters pediatrician what I need to tell her and she looked at me and said, "you don't have to tell me anything." Paper tracking for us.

Tracking down some volcano/mountain range/lake accounts on here was not what I was gonna do, but I'm ok with it.

I bake cakes for my family and cannoli cake is a very popular choice.

Please excuse my language when I say, FUCK YES! It's infuriating. Hard agree!

The jump to recipe button should be labeled "cool story bro."

The 5 People You Meet in Heaven. I'm not religious at all but that book. It...I cried. So hard. It made me view people differently, in a better way. I'm struggling now to see the better in people, maybe I should read it again.

All the yeses. I've tried to give my daughters time after events. We like to refer to it as "too much peopling," and they get time alone to recharge. I try to encourage them to join the group and then allow them to retreat to their rooms to recharge.

Same! This is the perfect illustration of that.

I talked to myself for 40 minutes yesterday all about the plot of my "book." Should be done with the first couple of chapters...but first, I must wash the windows on the screened in porch! Lol. Yup.

Lol. I very much Duh Danielled myself for all of the other choices. They were obvious and 100% correct. But those caps man. Gah! The worst!

Validate. Validate. Validate. Support teaching girls to name their gut feelings and go with them.

Minecraft. Feeling good, let's build or decorate something! Feeling crappy, let's go kill some zombies, feeling overwhelmed, let's go dig in the mines. Yup.

I still think about an HP one someone wrote that had Gordon Ramsey in it as the potions professor instead of Slughorn. It was fantastic. I hope that author is living their best life.

Much like a crafter and someone who purchases craft supplies. And a reader and someone who buys books. I am guilty of both and fear I would be a video game purchaser not a player if given the opportunity.

Thank you for sharing this. Have 11 and 13 year old daughters. Teaching them everyday to trust their guts. Trust their instincts. Will keep telling them and their friends.

Those tops that screw on but then don't screw off because they have little teeth gripping it so you have to buy ANOTHER one of the products instead of buying a refill or using your own. So wasteful (and annoying).

I think both are great. I'm team "why not both!" Read when you can, listen when you can. Only you know your limitations. Anyone who insists on one vs the other is...not very open.

Minecraft. I can do whatever I want. I can explore, I can farm, I can fight, I can build, I can grind. All little hits of dopamine. It's lovely.
