lemme guess...instead of Palestinians or Israelis settling that part of the Middle East, it will go to global real estate tycoons so that they can make the most of the beachfront property.

so, did any reporter there have an actual spine and ask him if US CITIZENS just suddenly lose all rights if they commit a crime? Would love to hear his answer...him being a fellow felon and all

The whole benefit to having global trade is that everyone has products that they are better equipped to produce efficiently, and cheaply. Simply saying something should be made in America doesn't make it the best product for consumers.

so sad that none of it really matters. the people who are voting on it have already had their decision made for them. It's a foregone conclusion. RFK Jr. successfully bought his position and the GOP will happily give it to him

I mean..that sounds great in theory. But, do you honestly think that the GOP wouldn't use every single option available to bypass it? They would absolutely have zero issue simply ignoring dem stall tactics and forcing the approvals by another manner.

I mean...are we really surprised that the GOP would start off a new congressional session with a lie? Seems perfectly on brand

They were only pretending because they thought that lying to their constituents too much would be a problem politically. Once Trump showed the GOP that they can do and say anything without consequences, it opened the floodgates.

Except what will actually happen is that Teachers and Counselors will not want to take the risk and will avoid the subject completely....which will have an additional detrimental effect on kids who truly have nowhere to go.
