To counter that point: Democrats are able to govern competently

I know what to do about THAT. We make generational changes. Evangelicalism has been working for 50+ years to get US society to where we are now. It’s been a steady march to this point. We have to work to change the hearts and minds of society. To give people without a group identity a new home.
