That's true. I felt like Moiraine's oath breaking got the point across but people will always speculate

Straight white guy so my positionality here is weak but I got goosebumps at her defying Elaida even beaten down and bloodied as she was. It was a cruel and heart rending scene to watch but she went out a hero. If I have one complaint it's that showing her headless corpse was kind of unneccessary

She's just like Musk, Bezos and all the other billionaires. Vapid personality, a black hole of charisma and an inability to say anything remotely intelligent. The only reason people listen to them is money, that's all they've got to feel good about themselves.

RTD1 was a nice concoction of campy and grit, part of what made it the perfect family show, but it feels like this era has dropped the grit entirely and it feels more one dimensional for it I'll also keep watching however as Ncuti Gatwa is a delight

Men complain about gender identities not being real but then also accuse cis people like me of not being men because we don't act manly enough. Got more rules and guidelines than a terms of service agreement 🫠

Remember being stuck in the city for university when this dropped so I was loitering outside the closed campus late at night using their wifi to watch this. Too excited to wait until I got home ✊️

They're okay. Not a huge commitment since most of the books are quite short. If you like Ciri, you'll enjoy the increased focus on her as the books progress as she's truthfully the main character.

It would have failed even harder and closed its servers by now had it released as a live service game. It's a ridiculously competitive genre because every one is designed to require your absolute commitment and I can't see Dragon Age pulling people away from Destiny 2 or Apex Legends.

But also, as someone on the spectrum I'm just really grateful towards Sanderson to see a potentially autistic character represented in a way that I feel I can actually relate to. I'm so used to the "autistic savant" trope and similar depictions so it was great to see a positive portrayal.

It had its flaws but I enjoyed it. I'm suprised at the common criticism about the therapy angle when I feel like it's appropriate considering the series has always had a focus on mental health, with this book in particular challenging the characters' empathy towards others.
