So a few months ago I could barely walk with a broken and shattered kneecap. After surgery, recovery, months of PT… today I did a full 5K and then some. I am extremely proud of myself for not giving up. Feels really good to accomplish something this big when it felt impossible.

As some people may know, we rescued this creature after Scarlett’s grandparents passed. His name is “Frodo” but I believe in my heart of hearts that his name was meant to be “Salacious B. Crumb”. Please sound off in the comments which name is more fitting for him.

I had the chance to get a sneak peak at @hackintimseeley.bsky.social and @nikolacizmesija.bsky.social ‘s Godzilla book “Godzilla Kai Sei” from @idwpublishing.com It wasn’t lettered yet but everything had such a unique feeling to it that set the tone for the Kai Sei comic era of Godzilla. Thread!

I finally locked into reading "Absolute Superman," which I loved. There is a great deal to unpack about the series and its retooling of everything. It's so many big swings that I enjoyed. Everything clicked for me in Issue 6, character-wise, though. Ma and Pa are the glue to Superman for me.

Tonight’s comic club was wonderful as usual! We talked about hell is empty, there was kittens, I complained Vol 1 didn’t have enough of my goth queen, and we had a great discussion about constructions and deconstructions of comics. I genuinely look forward to this every month and love this crew.
