and by no means am i saying nostalgia is bad or a hinderance, but in the landscape of remakes, sequels, and the yearning to go back to the simpler days, it takes us away from the moment. i guess it’s just another way of being mindful, on how to be present.

fourth, the original creators planned for LoK to be a one book (season) show. Nickelodeon, to my knowledge, was wishy-washy with greenlighting more seasons. therefore, writing/pacing was not the same as ATLA.
