A good resource with how hard this regime is trying to kill the LGBTQ+ community. www.tiktok.com/t/ZTj7VuDjc/

Big update to Prod tonight. I've done smaller updates in the past with an experienced admin over-the-shoulder, but this'll be the first time I'm alone on it, and it's a big update. The Test update was a monster, but I *think* I've mostly got it licked. Tonight will be the proof in the pudding tho'.

I'm irritated over something incredibly minor... All the talk about the tank treads. Listen people, those things are always loud. No, you cannot grease them and it doesn't have to be quiet to hear them; it carries for a good mile. The parade was pathetic, but that's not why. -signed, a former 19K

Alright, fuck it. I did a thing. It's long.. I dunno if it's any good, but here it is. mewe.com/post/show/68... (I created a mewe account 6 years ago; I don't have any other good place for longform content, so if mewe is bad in some way, feel free to let me know)

I'd like to do a deep dive into the role of country music in expressing implicitly verboten emotions for certain classes of American men. Unrelated: Are you allowed to be proud of someone with whom you no longer have a relationship? I see folks I used to know getting writing credits in books I know, and I feel happy for them, but also weird about it. Like, we're not 'friends' anymore (if we ever really were) so it feels odd.

I heard a stupid commercial I've heard a dozen times driving home tonight, but tonight a line struck me and made me irritated: A thread. So, the line was "I'm going to say the wine is good even though I know nothing" and then later "this wine is terrible" with the clear implication that liking 1/?

I'm gonna keep posting this comment wherever it's relevant, because GOD FUCKING DAMNIT. "If you have power and the will to use it ethically, DO NOT FUCKING RESIGN. Make them fire you if they will, but resignation is cowardice."

I’m so tired of seeing people give bisexuality and pansexuality wrong definitions 🧵
