What is bad about it?

To be fair, this specific issue is on Nintendo.

There’s been a lot of UE related grifting lately huh
comment in response to post
Yep. It was.

Only ones that come to mind are Netherrealm titles like MK9

I freaking loved Bulletstorm so if you contributed to that, let me say thanks ha ha! Yeah, UE3 did seem very 360 focused and yet only at 30 fps even. :-/

Yep, as I noted in my YouTube reply to that video ha ha He also labels Jedi Survivor as UE5 when it’s not.

You ever try Mass Effect 3 on PS3? It's so wretched I could hardly believe they had the balls to release it at all. Like, right away, you're at 15-20 fps. It barely runs.

Like, when you look at the performance of something like MindsEye, arguably the worst performing UE5 console game to date, that's actually representative of how most UE3 games run on PS3...that's actually almost too generous. UE3 games were WORSE than that, by and large.

Oh and texture loading issues. My goodness. Does nobody remember how common that was? Textures either not loading at all or loading slowly? Long loading times? High input lag? UE3 was terrible for performance, by and large.

I have my issues with modern Unreal Engine but the performance issues today are, quite frankly, much less significant than those faced during the PS360 era. Even Gears 1, from Epic themselves, struggled to hit 30 fps. Gears 2 and 3 were at least a mostly stable 30. Still, it's interesting...

Whereas, on PC, UE3 was absolutely FILLED with severe compilation stutter issues. UE3 games almost universally stuttered on PC. It was never really fully addressed and never really fixed. This guy straight up shows images of Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock on PS3 specifically - both ran ~20 fps at best

OK, that's a pretty fun list actually. I think I just love that trope, based on that list. So I'm OK with that aspect!

How many “former soldier has amnesia” games can you name? 😆
comment in response to post
Very. All the jank.
comment in response to post
Well, do you like mid-tier PS2 action games also with bugs? Then you will love this.
comment in response to post
Well, no, it's a fact! :D

They don't 'add' motion blur. That's the display panel at fault.

How do you feel about the Japanese cover for The Ooze?
comment in response to post
Well, that was the fault of the attempted business model where different companies made the system (Panasonic, Goldstar, Sanyo etc). Since they couldn’t rely on software sales, though, the price needed to reflect the cost of manufacturing.

He does transform without loading hiccups.

YES! It works Running on my CRT from a real 3DO even

Good lord, Andy.

Horse sighted.😅

I wonder why they didn’t use them then?!
comment in response to post
Someone modded those in?!! That’s incredible.
comment in response to post
Mostly not, no, but if they implemented a form of strobing it would help a ton.
comment in response to post
It is but that’s the sole issue. LCD has persistence blur + pixel response blur hence why the camera can capture it.

I didn’t praise the screen because I didn’t have a hands-on with it.

I tried Bakeru in the stream last night and it's night and day. Locked 60 now.

OK, so it is possible to get 444 after all - not sure what was going on before that caused it to get stuck in YUV420, though. The dock output has been a little annoying for me thus far.
comment in response to post
OK, got it going now. Same cable. Was just acting weird. Not sure why it's finicky.
comment in response to post
I wonder how? It just straight up doesn't work for me.

Switch 2 cannot do 4K120. Best it can handle is 1440p120 hence why it only engages when presented with 120 fps content.
comment in response to post
Yep, that's the one!
