We’ve expanded custom difficulty options in the Secrets of the Coven update. You can now choose to have purely random skills assigned to your heroes (i.e. Abomination can get all human/beast skills if you're super unlucky). We’ve also added an option for heroes to start with Random Paths assigned.

Select the heroes that will appear in your Kingdom! When you start a new Kingdom campaign, you can now select the heroes that you want to appear on the map. Simply use Shift+Right Click on other heroes to add or remove them from the Kingdom Map Roster for placement on start. #darkestdungeon2
