I had a an interesting conversation with my boyfriend yesterday. He constantly needs to have music playing (though I make him turn it off at bedtime). I love silence, especially after snowfall. He finds silence loud and oppressive. I’d be interested to learn more about the psychology of silence

Kate Nash went hard. Saving this as a response to way too many posts on other sites. m.youtube.com/watch?v=q2Mo...

Colonialism never went away and every time indigenous voices are raised, the colonial powers will always try to silence them. www.theguardian.com/world/2025/m...

I find the new All Stars format interesting and waiting to see how it plays out. I’ve always liked the idea of a points system, but it’s missed opportunity to have one and +not* award a point for best runway so that it officially counts. Bosco for the first and Olivia for the second runway for me

Traveling Japan and my feet are realizing that Buddhism really loves mountains

Got some drag in this trip #drag #osakadrag #dragqueen

First day in Kyoto and walked the Philosopher’sPath and ended the day at my ryokan’s onsen all by myself. Ryokan Yuzuya is definitely the full experience and provided the yukata. Definitely recommend. #kyoto #yukata #ryokan #ryokanyuzuya

@suzietoot.bsky.social showed everyone that she does the drag she does because it’s her art and her passion, not because it’s the only thing she can do. She can do what other girls do, and better

Suzie’s mug looked *beautiful* tonight

This really reads like a short story, with a beginning, middle and end. But it's also a lovely introduction to the world of my novel. I'd love it if you checked this out 💝

Love Nathan Lane and really wanted to like Mid-Century Modern but a sitcom with a laugh track in this day and age is just weird and the writing and delivery adds to the 90’s feel but not in a good way

I love when I’m listening to a romantasy audiobook and it gets to the spicy part when you’re in the gym surrounded by people. Like don’t mind me I’m just enjoying a bit of public arousal and you don’t even know it

So I’ve noticed that whenever “progressives” say that “identity politics” are just a distraction from working class solidarity, they are always cishet white men. Yes, there are class issues *and* there are problems surrounding identity. One is not more or less important than the other.
