How did you go about pushing back and getting a fairer deal? Were they quite receptive or did you need to become an avatar of the law? 🔨

The problem for me is that now I’ve been doing this for a while - 15/20 years? - I’m less inclined to having to keep creating things from scratch for clients - which I can’t then use myself . More interested in my work working for me

I think it’s more about having the legalise in place - what ever that is - so I can produce my own stuff, and then if an interested party comes along I can take it from there . Seen some artists doing that it before , but…. How

I always got to turkish barbers - no conversion, just listening to what seems like an extended family of 50 cousins shouting at each other before one of them sets my ear hair on fire

Now I'm back to the daily grind, need to look for work that works for me - so I don't need to make something new everytime

Back in 2008 Neal Stephenson predicted that AI would exist to create crap on the Internet on behalf of shady businesses who would be enriched by filtering out all the crap. Artificial Inanity. Deliberately "planting misinformation in the enemy's reticules" is the point.

I’m not even exaggerating when I say this, but I have only had 3 good night sleeps in 4 years. Feel like I’ll have to pay for that at some point

probably delete later as it's it's worded badly - but it feels like a kind of confirmation bias -whenever Altman bangs on about stuff like that I think 'huh, he just wants a dumbed down scif book trope to be true'

biggest problem I find with those that I know - they keep anthropomorphising AI, like it's some kind of entity like us, rather than a data set that has no concept of what anything is

Why can't the large, heartless, corporate film studios give Goran a job already!?

Heat (1995) also marks the start of the Moby Mafias short lived stranglehold on Hollywood - every mainstream film till 2005 requiring at least 1 seminal Moby track

All the actors they got as voices were either too recognisable as their on screen counterparts, or were just annoying (bumblebee). What does Steve B bring to the star scream Part exactly? Nothing!

I just think if your going to blow loads of money of famous actors, then you should at least get one funny voice out of them

Haha is this like when they used an actor for mocap in mandelorian , who looked almost exactly like Luke skywalker, but they used wierd cgi instead

toughest book I've read is Cities of the Red Night by William S. Burroughs - so should be able to handle it!

I didn’t want to type-cast him as ‘the mean Englishman’ in case your opposite number popped up and said ‘actually he can do their roles as well’
