…are billionaires trying to infiltrate your house to turn it into a secular church? a far cry from actively hunting the rich and making them pay lol

It's odd to be concerned about wasting "precious time" being alive and sentient, AFTER you denounce people who look for purpose - you know... making the most out of their time and striving to do their part for society and for future generations. But you're just happy to be here, little bystander :)

see how quickly ChatGPT lead you astray? hahaha, already saying "how this" and "how that", when the question was "why?" - Science may explain what is already evident and observed and intuited, but simply fails to provide adequate answers beyond that. Pity.

It's funny how when people have doubts about anything, they seek out only what will affirm their doubts. Never do they try to build the case for what they doubt, to see how it holds up. Nope, just a one-sided slaughter. Dostoevsky shows how to turn both arguments into giants, and seeing who wins.

"I know", two words that not even the most unreasonable scientists would dare to utter when discussing such an indisputably complex topic. You sound like an arrogant pre-teen going through the rebellious obnoxious phase of knowing more than anyone on the planet and to have ever lived. You'll learn.

I claim that love and creativity exists, but science has not been able to provide any supporting evidence for this claim - it is simply a subjective experience of an individual. Do you reject my claim?

No, not everybody does. Some simply cling to the "life is meaningless, there is no purpose to life, we're all atoms and will die anyway" argument, and that's just so that they don't have to take any responsibility for their evil behavior, since it is all meaningless. I hope you find something.

You worship reason. You simply do not understand the concept of worship, and it shows. It is often the most uneducated ones who accuse others of not understanding and being wrong, as usual.
You put your faith in reason and rationality, you see it as the ultimate truth, fine. That's worship.

That idea you have of some magical life "somewhere out there" that we absolutely *must* find is literally no different to what people thought thousands of years ago which lead to the concept of God forming as humans evolved, propelled by that same imagination. How ironic. Hope you find aliens, bro!

3. This moron snitched on himself when he posted it to the internet SOLELY so that he could fulfill his narcissistic desire to be commended for his false virtues. NOBODY WOULD DO THAT IF THE THREAT WAS REAL. Its like he's trying to get them deported himself! You disrespectful, evil little rats.

2. the fucking audacity to say this from the comfort of his own home, in no danger, in an attempt to place himself as equal to the fucking heroes who sacrificed their lives during the real fucking deal, who would have never DARED telling even their neighbor, let alone the whole fuckign world 2/3

1. How are you so clueless? Do you think anybody living through ACTUAL Nazi Germany would be virtue signaling to the whole world what they're doing? Are you that blind to no see that he is literally risking anyone he is "hiding" by telling the internet, so that he can get unearned praise for it 1/3

Fry's conceptualization of God is an 8year old's idea of God - just a bearded man sat on a cloud, playing the earth as one plays a videogame. If you can't at least learn how God is conceptualized throughout human history beyond this childish representation, why act as if you have all the answers?

At the top of that system is an ultimate value - unless you are a nihilist, which you very may well be judging by your response.
Whatever that supreme value you find or place at the top of your system of value essentially defines what you worship. For some people, that is God - to each their own.
comment in response to

Sorry, but that is literally impossible. No human could function for more than 2 seconds without a system of belief - that's schizophrenia to a deadly degree.
No matter what, your system of beliefs determines what you value. What you value determines how you act and attend in the world. Fact.

It isn’t arguing *for* atheism - he states no virtues or ethics attributed to atheism specifically, only he tore down its opposition. Which is fine, but let’s not confuse the tearing down of other systems of beliefs with actually making the argument for and justifying the one you do subscribe to

The compassionate left is criticizing him for "providing false hope" to these extreme sufferers - but you're saying "Look at me! I am living proof that kids whose lives are being decimated due to increased ASD severity can in fact do anything they wish! Well *I* can... They don't need your support!"

Do you think it is even mildly appropriate to use your individual diagnosis on the autism ***spectrum*** to tout around your own personal achievements, as if you suffer the hardships that are anything remotely similar to the 25% of the worst of Level 3 severity!?
comment in response to

Have we forgotten how the term 'on the spectrum' permeated internet culture?
How much do you *actually* understand about autism? How much of the literature have you read? Do you even know what diagnostic criteria was used in your diagnosis? The DRM-5 system? At what level of severity, then!?

I'm doing my part! Unite and fight back against the big scary threat, everyone! ...as long as no risk is involved! 🤝
Go on ahead, I'll catch up when my personal security isn't on the line! 💪

this makes no sense, why would the left want to claim representation of the religious when they spend most of their time tearing it down for being a lie, corrupt, and manipulative while portraying the right as those who apparently saw through the bullshit and went the other direction?? sus!

Doubt of the resurrection is the primary point of contention for even the most spiritual individuals, and is what causes society to reject Jesus’ entirely. If we all had faith that it was true (you certainly seem to think their disbelief was unreasonable!) how would that collective belief manifest?
comment in response to
post
It isn’t about not believing women, it’s about people’s reluctance to believe or accept a miracle. Jesus and his apostles were plenty doubted - Jesus was literally crucified as a result. It’s a representation that regardless of the depth of one’s spirit, doubt can still linger.

I mean the play/participatory aspect of games being something that allows it to stand on its own from the other mediums justifies the concept of ranking as a *game* far more reasonably than the others. Fun can be definitely be ranked!

You’re SO dumb. You don’t even realise the shit you imply. Your baseline implication was still “an unhealthy brain is the cause of dementia.” You cannot lie your way out of it. Pathetic tool.

Kind of a fucked thing to imply about sufferers of dementia, Al. “WE won’t get dementia, OUR brains are healthy. Yours must not have been, why is why you got it.”

The embeddedness of this stance from you being one of righteousness and compassion for all humans to be equal lays foundation for you to play the moral superiority stance and trivialise the opposition as sub-human value, but if you truly wanted middle ground, you’d start somewhere more reciprocal.

If you follow the common line of thought on this platform espoused by those who push for equality of outcomes and who are left-leaning politically, they quickly lead to a communist/maxism, openly and proudly, which is why the leftist demand for equality is associated with a can of worms as such.
comment in response to
post
You’re not framing the issue honestly (it appears to me, at least). The issue isn’t “they don’t want people treated equally”, they’re responding to ‘left-leaning values’ that are embedded in far wider context than the single sentence you claim they’re responding to directly indicates.

GDC isn't a you're opportunity to be a vulture and hunt for a bag, bud. Go learn from your peers, share ideas that we can all use ourselves, learn about what other people are working on; don't just go ONLY to talk about yourself and what you're making. GDC isn't about you and your 'thing'. Sigh.

Demonzing and complaining isn't addressing it." Men are overwhelmingly compelled to do the most work to eradicate workplace inequality; also a biological factor as women are more agreeable, thus less willing to negotiate for themselves; so men are expected to fix "crimes" they didn't commit, too.
comment in response to

adding the obvious indeed, for reasons typically motivated by a resentful sense of "look, more evidence that men are a plague on women"
Men are more disagreeable than women: a biological fact that causes the disproportionate crimerate in men (80%); but women are not at all willing to address it

I’d say people are actually fairly smart in that regard. Players have to figure out and learn a new set of behaviour patterns and abilities for enemies every time they play a new game, and are able to do it pretty damn quick without realizing - also smarter NPCs should adapt to player skill, ideally
