I’m glad the last comic was a dream. Kip would be hurt so so badly if that happened for real. I hope the chapters where they talk things out are longer like eddie’s coming out episodes, splitting that conversation up over many weeks would dampen the impact for me. If not I’ll wait until it’s done.

Discord clips don’t actually save to a server. The setting is for whether you want other people to be able to record your voice in their clips, to their own machine. This case is not a data harvesting issue. Unless you think discord is lying, which some people might. But then why have a setting?
