I love that you love Maria. She's the best! One of my favorite memories is seeing her and, I think, Jake Johannsen in Houston about 20 years ago.

Interestingly enough, the use of that phrase as a metaphor only dates to the 1930s, and was clearly intended as a negative from the very beginning.

I think all we're seeing from him is that he got an idea that "tariffs = good" and he WILL NOT BACK DOWN from any idea, ever. Doesn't matter how obviously stupid or harmful. Never show "weakness".

Exactly this. I can't think of a house door that didn't open inward. Another advantage to this is that you can mount an outward-opening screen or storm door on the outside.

OK, maybe I'm an idiot here, but this doesn't seem to match the meme format. The goose would get mad if the *scientists* impose those. But in this case it is the NIH, and Droegemeier and the current admin want to curb the NIH, and have there be fewer regs. Yes? No?

Superliminal for me. Saw the demos and stuff when it was new and was hooked by the concept immediately.
Bought it early, went through the WHOLE game, went back and tried a couple of the low-move challenges until I was bored.
Still less than seven total hours played. Such a nothing-burger.
