Thinking about all the people at USDA working out in the fields all summer, trying to grow more resilient types of broccoli or whatever so we can make it easier to feed people, or testing crop samples from local farmers to see what's killing their fields.

...and so many Trumpers are resentful losers who don't have the resolve and determination to stick with a long-term career arc. The people they're villianizing just...went to school, did some science, and are trying to do some good in their tiny little corner of the world.
