Was just debating with my wife as to who gets the funniest lines. I’m torn between Lucile and Lindsay. Everyone in that show has such incredible comic timing.

It’s probably about time I rewatched all of Arrested Development. That show is just as funny the fiftieth time around as the first. Possibly funnier.

I asked chatGPT to clarify what it means by a “source”.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m no fan of the royals. But I’m not going to go out of my way to yell about them in the streets. I mostly never think about them. Sometimes I laugh at them. I’d be happy to see them fade away. Quietly.

Our king has no meaningful affect on our lives. He’s not trying to have us deported, encouraging the murder of his opponents (does he even have opponents?), or trying to destroy our economy. We don’t even pay for his upkeep, that’s the Brits’ burden. Is he even on our money? 🤷‍♂️ he’s mostly harmless

Yeah C just texted me to say nukes about to go off in the ME. She and I clearly read different news. All I could find is that Star Trek Strange New Worlds is being renewed for a fifth and final season and the latest Murderbot episode is out.

Reading Ulysses inspired me to get off my arse and commit to writing my novel. Three years and almost 160,000 words later it’s almost done. One of the central characters early in the book is Dr Joyce Jamison. Many Ulysses references scattered thru it. But yes I doubt any publisher will like it.

One could probably argue all the rioting etc in the US right now has been inflamed by AI generated policies. But even that’s a long bow. The robodebt example is more aligned I think. But still that was human enforcement based on nonsense algorithms.

What was the internet’s first mass casualty event? Or the VCR’s? Does every technology need one?

More accurately selling mashups derived from copies of the contents of your house that I didn’t pay to see. In my defence I didn’t actually take anything. I’m not profiting off your stuff, just stuff in general of which your stuff is a tiny part, which I copped a look at. Also your door was open.

My retirement plan is to scrape together whatever money I can and open a scifi bookshop by day and cocktail bar by night. I’ve even chosen a venue. I expect it will lose money but be a lot of fun.

Haha of course I saw a typo in that screen snap. Fixed. Actual draft 19 now done. For reals.

In the novel I’m writing each chapter is a song title so I’ve made a mix tape of the chapters. music.apple.com/au/playlist/...

I don’t know why you promote these dreadful people. Ignore them and they’ll go away.
