Both sens from NJ are “deeply concerned.”
@booker.senate.gov and @kim.senate.gov, NO ONE IS LISTENING TO YOU!
Please, it is time to call this out in louder, more strident language like, “This bullshit is against the law. This president doesn’t give a fuck about the constitution.”

The children need you! I teach ELD in middle school in DSUSD. Tuesday, a 6th gr. boy came in and asked, “Is it true that Trump is going to deport illegals?” (Exact quote.)
Many were worried about fam. Some were worried about themselves, & they are citizens.
We talked & they felt better. Please help!

I then assured them that they were more protected living in California, than those living in red states.
That is a Tuesday morning convo now.

This morning, a 6th grader came in and blurted out, “Mr. Sexson, is it true that Trump is going to deport illegals?” Four kids shared that they were worried about a parent.
I reminded them that I voted for Harris for this reason, and others, but that most of the voters chose him.

6 million meters per year is outstanding!
Running kills my knees. I am 6’4” and too cheap to buy a big enough bike. So for me, the ski erg and row erg are enough variation to reach 3 million meter this year.
I took your advice and began strength training last week!

Very nice! I am focused on rowing or skiing 8,300 meters every morning before work, so I can reach 3 million by the end of the year.

That’s what I was talking about. I mean, it is super sad that she didn’t beat the disrespectful fear-loving candidate & his followers.
Period.
And it stinks that she has to be the bigger person.
But…she showed her class & ability to not be affected by his hate.
It may be a while, but she will win.

Yeah this guy is a scummy racist. No prob.
But did you see Madam VP’s reaction?
She laughed at him!
That is power and victory, right there!
Can’t wait for her to be our next governor in California!

I am hoping (expecting) that she will be our next governor in California.

Thank you so much for including me on this list! I’m trying to be positive, and bring the fresh voice of a liberal middle school teacher to this site (although today, in remembrance of four years ago, I’ve posted some negativity.)
Hang in there, everyone. We will figure out a way to right this ship!

Shouldn’t we say, “MAY I be a child again?”

This is directed to the OP, not Mark Cuban…
The series has ALWAYS been entrepreneurs pitching for an investment from rich people!
You don’t like it, don’t watch, but good grief, how did it take you THIS LONG to come to that decision?
I love the show, except when the sharks laugh at the presenters.

I’m married to a retired school teacher and counselor of 38 years. We could both also help with non-academic issues (she worked k-12 throughout her career).

Middle school teacher here, in my 32nd year.
Thank you for the kind words. I have no idea what other job I could do for 32 years and still enjoy it so much! (Although, I am kinda wishing we had another week off!)
I’m here to offer middle school help.

I just found you, so please forgive if this is overstepping. I’m a middle school public school teacher. Working with & being around kids helps me maintain hope 4 our future.
I know not all people like kids (they can be trying, for sure), but they offer a freshness to life that many adults have lost.

I haven’t seen this one, but the Learn to Fly video makes me tear up EVERY TIME I watch it (over 20 times).

This is the approach I take in my middle school classes every day. ALMOST every interaction with students, regardless of their level of disrespect, is better served when my reaction is based on being kind vs trying to “save face.”
*Kindness does NOT mean being a doormat, though.

“Not Afraid,” by Eminem. That’s the one! The message is in the title, and the other side wants us to be afraid of EVERYTHING.
The chorus is perfect.

How about “Good Times,” by Chic? It’s very catchy, but might not portray a change in direction.
I’ll keep thinking.
