This is the problem with a large section of football fans and especially with punditry. It is perfectly acceptable to have a "good" season 2nd in the league and (touch wood) last for of the CL is a pretty decent season. Only 1 team can win any competition.

No it's right. Villa have got more points than they should have based on their performances. They've been solidly mid table this season (partially shown by the negative goal difference).

It just feels weird. Played quite a bit or rugby at school then tried out American football in my early twenties. It's uncomfortable, cumbersome and it can be used against you if someone pushes it upwards.
