Any chance this’ll be online? Looks like an important kōrero and I’d love to be able to see it (or read a transcript!).

We ask that folks wear face masks for their privacy and health. I have plenty extra so if you need one just ask!

UC faculty - please show up in solidarity with students. Your presence helps keep us safe from potential violence from security, and stresses the urgency of divestment. Tell them your work should never fund genocide! #nzpol

Such a shift in the Overton window. The outrage this would have caused 5-10 years ago compared to now… it’ll barely make a blip on the chaos newsreel. Unreal.

It’s “odd” to have a press release after a meeting w Van Velden when she’s a literal government minister? When the meeting is with representatives of hundreds of thousands of people? Press is supposed to be the truth going public, the only reason that’s odd is if you wanted to hide something #nzpol

Govt is testing the limits of their social licence to see just how far they can go in suppressing worker rights before there’s mass mobilisation. It is historically & politically concerning to repress the NZCTU like this, and they’re banking on getting away with it. #nzpol #AoNZ

I don’t *decide* to get a fat pay rise from govt, I just *choose* to keep it invested in my property portfolio and my children’s private school instead of giving back to the community!
