He really drove the Jam with his energy on the drums. Rasping snare a real feature.

I will give it a follow and save. Let’s hope we don’t have to have one for this decade.

Indeed. Terribly sad news. My condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

Oh about 6 months now. Information is quite good but little interaction even in a positive way from most followers.

So sad. Posts from LAG, LAPG, LALY & Hammersmith LC rightly speak of Spike's commitment to social justice, to brining on younger people. But we also know what a great guy he was to be with. Spike was so smart, funny, warm and friendly to all. Love to his colleagues, friends & especially his family.

@nearlylegal.co.uk @anthonygoldlaw.bsky.social When Giles, and I refer to arm twisting and press ganging, we are of course not advocating or inciting violence. We are talking metaphorically. This is BlueSky after all.

Yes I’m delighted to see @anthonygoldlaw.bsky.social here too. It so interesting that so many individuals from law have joined Blue Sky yet many firms and Chambers are not as yet. Some exceptions I know. Perhaps more arm twisting is necessary.

Well that’s good news for starters.

In family mediation it is not usual for the lawyers to be present in the sessions themselves although it is gaining popularity in the appropriate cases where it can work really well. All good mediations have the lawyers involved in the preparation and regular advice

Yes. Especially if you need other professionals in the meeting

2/2 It is best to start family mediation in shorter 2 hour sessions and the full day set aside for when all the information and figures are to hand and everyone has had the time and advice they need

Hi Jacob. I’m a family mediator. You make good points. But often in family cases there is more than just the business side of dividing finances, especially when the parties are in different places emotionally. Devoting a whole day can work sometimes but it can become exhausting and go backwards 1/2
