My favourite recent experience was seeing the computer send in a squad of spiffy new Chaos Terminators and just... instantly flattening them with a Squiggoth charge. By Gork an' Mork, I love dat Squiggoth.

And I've probably built like 3 new Ork Settlements.
One match I managed to get over 2000 kills (the enemy HQ glitched and turned invisible on 1 hp instead of being breaking).

I only did traditional art for most of my life. Only started digital in my 20s, and tbh I'm still just painting on one layer. I feel like I haven't even scratched the surface of the majority of art fundamentals, so learning layer tricks doesn't really help me at this point.

Yeah.
In Winter Assault my experience with Orks was that there was just never enough resources to build enough bois to actually pose a threat before the enemy captured the objective.
In Dark Crusade, I feel like I can build up my army fast enough to be aggressive and keep the momentum going.

Tbh the combat is fun, but the exploration is the best part of Dark Souls. The way the levels fold in on themselves (especially the early ones) is magic. I never finished DS3, although I really like it. But the focus on combat over level design is definitely noticeable.
