I’m sure it exists already, but fun idea for a Sonic fangame (or real game if SEGA is bold enough) is a successor to Sonic Mania that takes inspiration from the Master System and Game Gear games. Y’know, the ones people conveniently ignore when insisting that the classic games are better!
