@alisonkmurray.bsky.social -- Since I haven't blocked you, but I'm appearing on your "they blocked me" list, you might want to check your settings to make sure your list creation feature hasn't been hijacked. This morning, I see several such lists have been newly created. Seems to be a bot attack.

The Stonewall Inn released a response to the National Parks Service removing the word transgender from the park outside of the Inn. A great reminder that we have to look after each other

Today, the National Park Service has removed all mention of trans people from the official web site for the Stonewall National Monument, even deleting the "T" from LBTQIA+ (and now the QIA+, too). They want to divide us and conquer. Our country is now in the throes of a full-fledged Nazi takeover.

I am begging every Democratic committee, PAC, and candidate to get control of your damn email program right now and stop sending tone deaf fundraising emails that have nothing to do with what's happening. Stop listening to focus groups from a month ago. Stop the 2 approved talking points.

Elon Musk is not a Federal employee or a political appointee. DOGE is not a real department. None of their activities are legal. This is a coup. The Republicans in Congress are willing participants in it. At what point do Democrats in DC get that and start acting like it? It’s not the price of eggs!

NEW: Sources tell my office that Treasury Secretary Bessent has granted DOGE *full* access to this system. Social Security and Medicare benefits, grants, payments to government contractors, including those that compete directly with Musk's own companies. All of it.

I think this is our future unless someone stops him. Musk’s plan for X has been for it to replace the entire banking system. His keen interest in seizing control of Treasury payments (and its tech) may forebode an intention to have such payments go through X www.theverge.com/2023/10/26/2...

I think that we should be talking about what Trump is trying to do to trans people in the context of the Nuremberg laws.

🚨 PSA: If you are trans, do NOT mail in your passport to attempt to change your gender marker. The State Department is currently collecting them unchanged and will not give a public timeline for returning them. You could be without a passport indefinitely.

Re-posting @aridrennen.bsky.social's outstanding dissection of the right-wing's concerted attacks on Bishop Budde after her eloquent, heartfelt plea for Trump to show mercy to the vulnerable. Trump won't, of course, but the rest of us need to hear, and support, the bishop's call.

No executive order has the power or the right to tell you who you are. F*ck that noise. Surround yourself with love, and when you’re ready, get back in this fight. We need you. 🫶🏽

(wry chuckle) This morning, I find myself added to a "Block Furry Posts" list. Not a furry myself, and I've never posted furry content, but I'm a gay man with an open heart, so I have friends who are furries and, yes, I will continue talk to them, even here. I guess bigots come in all stripes.

Posted a year-end update to my site this morning! Eleven poems and memoir stories published since May: davidmilley.com/year-end-wra.... Swing on by and take a quick read! #poetry #memoir #writer #author #published

Princess Scootchie Quivertail the Magnificent celebrates #Caturday in her nest of leaves and ivy.

Last Syllable Issue III is online and it is glorious--a fine collection! It includes "Names," my recollection of a road trip Warren and I shared with a bunch of people--maybe half a milion of us--back in 1987. To remember what happened that day, you can find the poem here: lastsyllablelit.com/names.

At what point are trans people allowed to exist in the narrative? At what point are LGBT+ people allowed to tell our stories without worry of censorship or removal?

There’s this special kind of dad…

I knew it! I was just telling hubby this morning that the way Mace worded her public accusation, it sounded like she was lying about every part of the whole thing. And here it is!

The latest issue of moonShine Review is on sale now, and it includes my story, "Hospitality," about a meal my family shared at a Howard Johnson's in South Carolina on the early 1960s, in the eye of the cultural storm. moonshinereview.com/order-latest...

We keep telling you that it is not about children. Matt Walsh at the Supreme Court says this is just the beginning and they will not stop until "trans ideology is entirely erased from the Earth." This is a statement of genocidal intent. You cannot erase an idea, but you can try to erase a people.

Published today by The Bookends Review, just in time for Thanksgiving, "Enormous Goose," the story of my encounter with wildlife at the Echelon Mall : thebookendsreview.com/2024/11/27/e...

It's all tied together and don't let them trick you into thinking it's for safety
