This imbecile publicly exposes his stupidity every single day. www.al.com/politics/202...

What an excellent piece by Jamelle Bouie @jamellebouie.net -- here's a gift link so you can read it without the paywall: www.nytimes.com/2025/06/18/o...

Maybe we need to make it our task to get to 2028 in the best possible shape to elect responsible leadership and push political and economic power out to as many citizens as possible.

Power to the people.

The ny times editors are truly some of the dumbest people alive. They write that only "thousands" showed up but the article itself strongly implies orders of magnitude higher.

It sends a message to clients, who may end up litigating against the government, when a law firm caves to even demonstrably illegal government pressure. If they won’t stick up for themselves, why would they stick up for you?

Yesterday, millions of us reasserted the “We” in "We the people." We gained strength from our solidarity. We celebrated our numbers and our power. We will be steadfast. We will not cower to a dictator. We will win.

The Senator was also reported to have been escorted to the event by FBI. So, tales of him crashing the event are fake news.

In Philadelphia. No to Kings. We the people of the United States

If the United States saw what the United States is doing in the United States, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States.

The Trump American brain drain is underway. How stupid his DOGE destruction of human government infrastructure is, and, as it was fully on notice before the election, how stupid it was to vote for him: www.seattletimes.com/explore/care...

For years we've heard from the right about "welfare queens" and other so-called "freeloaders" pulling one over on the government. But actually, it's the wealthy who are the real freeloaders — pulling one over on us all by skirting their taxes. Where is the outrage over that?

Bannon says...one truthful thing?

Impeach. Convict. Remove.

The last time he pulled this Muslim ban BS, people rushed into the streets in disgust & lawyers raced to the airports to help. Now, no one’s shocked, everyone is numb… This country is in seriously scary shape

A recent study found that for every $1 invested in the National Weather Service, it produces $73 in value to Americans. Not only is the NWS a life-saving government resource, it's actually quite efficient.

It wouldn’t be hard to protect Medicaid and funding to rural hospitals and still reduce our nation’s ballooning debt and deficit. The Rs would just have to make the wealthy and corporations pay slightly more in taxes. (PS Rs are never serious about the debt and deficit when they are in power).

This drug-abusing, constantly lying, delusional kook is probably not done with us. Such people rarely or never just go away. www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news...

Few Americans know how much they've benefitted from previous administrations' achieving world's reserve currency status for the dollar, one of many American successes that have quietly changed the world. How stupid to throw that remarkable achievement away. www.seattletimes.com/business/tru...

Amen.

Thank you, Andrew. I think you should keep pounding away at this. The administration's supposed opposition to anti-semitism? Total hoax. Fake news.

Motherfucker was so high. So what are the excuses for Trump, the press, the House and the Senate? www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...

I for one am shocked the smartest man in the world could not cure the world’s ills in the span of 90 days armed only with a legion of tech twinks.

I don’t know how many times we have to say this, but the U.S. government is not a business and shouldn’t be run like one. It’s a service—for the people.

"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little." -FDR, 1937

These Afghans helped our service people, likely indirectly saving many of their lives through translation, intelligence and other assistance. They escaped with their lives and will lose them if they're sent back. We've got to get our conscience back.
