Do these people not realise how bland and cringey everyone thinks AI ‘art’ is? Genuinely baffled by the thought proses that leads them to consider such slop good.

I was about to recommend that, it’s ridiculously good. Does a really good job framing the struggle in both its historical context and modern relevance.

What’s the worst that can happen?

I saw someone allude to the nature of a scene in this, and I knew I had to watch this as unspoiled as possible. This sounds like some absolutely mondo insanity.

I was there for some of that at the beginning. I had to leave because of other stuff I had to be elsewhere for, but it was still great seeing Jack strut his stuff.

That’s the only one in the series I’ve seen, but I enjoyed it a lot. Helped that I saw it on an IMAX screen too. Loved the whole exploitation but do it art house style vibe it had.

I’m so happy that Indicator has their deal with the Permanencia Voluntaria archive. I just love the vibe of Mexican horror and genre films so much. 🇲🇽

lol at Hot Fuzz being on the list. It absolutely works as a folk horror, but seeing it listed as such is very amusing to me. 😃

I’m still constantly checking to see if The Shrouds has gotten a U.K. release date. It hasn’t yet. I’m pretty sure this is a film I’m going to enjoy more than most people judging from what I’ve read about it so far.

Which cut are you watching? Theatrical or director’s? Both are great, but in different ways.

I haven’t seen that film in at least thirty years, but I can still vividly remember many of the more shocking scenes. I’ll be very interested to see just how accurate my memories of it are.

Oh, I will absolutely be watching this space. 👀 This is deliciously intriguing.

Oh yes, I discovered her for the first time in the fun as heck but also problematic as heck Mask of Fu Manchu. Gloriously diabolical vape hits and an attitude to match. boxd.it/9mZ0ct

Santosh mentioned! I really enjoyed that. Got quite a few Memories of Murder vibes from it.

This is on my #precodeapril watch list. Haven’t got to it yet, but I’m looking forward to it.

That TBC on Saturday… what could it be? 👀 The possibilities are endless and intriguing.

I got to see this a couple of months back with a live musical accomplishment. Absolutely amazing experience.

Oh boy! I saw this at a Forbidden Worlds screening and had an absolute blast with it. Absolutely delightful exploitation fun.

Childhood memory unlocked. I must have watched the VHS tape my mum made of the TV broadcast dozens of times when I was little. Must be nearly thirty years since I saw it last. Man, that’s a scary sentence to type.

Then The Battle of Algiers, which was a first time watch for me but might now be one of my all time favourite movies. There’s so much to unpack here, I could probably have written thrice the amount here. But it has to stop as my wrists were getting tired! boxd.it/9giOpx
